Magic Submitter Review

In my opinion Magic Submitter is the best tool to have been released in 2010.
It serves a similar purpose to SE Nuke. It registers and verifies email accounts and submits to a range of Article, Web 2.0, Blog and Press Release sites.
Like other applications this software uses / controls Internet Explorer as its browser (though you would not know to look at it). You can run just three browser windows during submission, a lot less than you can run in SE Nuke, but it is pretty stable. If you have ever tried to run lots of windows simultaneously with SE Nuke you will know it can get a bit flakey.
Magic Submitter is slow to use due to the fact it is controling Internet Explorer. It takes time to register your accounts on the sites. Verifying accounts is pretty quick taking only a minute or so. Then, you have to format submissions for the various types of target site. Whilst most fields can be copied and pasted (your spinners for example) it is still quite a slow process.
Then you have to select categories for certain sites, for example article directories require a category to be specified. There is a search feature to find categories, but it is still a slow process. There is a feature to save categories so they can be re-used on another submission. So, if you are submitting several articles in the same niche you can reload categories you have previously defined.
Once you have created accounds, created items to submit and loaded your categories you click the submit button and it goes off and submits to all the sites. Submission is also a slow process due to the fact browser windows are used. Browser windows are used so you can manually intervene if there is a problem.
Success rates are not always great with Magic Submitter, sometimes you have to re-run on the failed sites to try and get the success rate up.
After this, some sites need to manually approve your submissions, press release sites and article directories for example. This will reduce success rate further.
Another issue with Magic Submitter is that the inbuilt targets are not as well maintained as they should be. If a target site changes, then Magic needs to be updated to reflect that change, and frankly, that is not happening as fast as it should. My guess is they are concentrating more on developing new features than on maintaing old ones. This really needs to be addressed in my opinion.
So, it is slow, not terribly reliable with mixed success rates, so why do I love this software?
Well, though slow, it is a lot faster than doing things manually and it can get you some good quality links (for an auto submitter). For example it will get you links on ezinearticles.com and other high profile directories / web 2.0 sites.
The big benefit of this tool over others is the fact that it has a “designer” mode, where you can add your own targets. In designer you get a graphical interface. You design your fields form, for examply you may want:
- User Name
- Passoword
- Email Address
- Title
- Body
- Tags
If you wanted to submit to a blogging platform. Then you create your submit process. Here you use the designer to walk through the registration process and sign up. If there is a captcha, you can click on that and tell designer to “solve captcha”.
Magic Submitter integrates with manual captcha solving services, so you buy credits and get captchas solved for you very cheaply, this means you can leave it running whilst you do something else. If you enjoy punching captchas in manually you can do that too.
Magic submitter can auto capture categories from drop down lists, which is a great feature. Just define that element (drop down list) as a category and it will harvest the categories for you, and add them to the list of categories you choose from when you are in submit mode.
Once you have set up your registration process, you move onto the submit process. Again you walk through the process in a browser telling Magic Submitter where to enter username, password, where to solve captchas, which links to click next, where to enter your post title, content, tags etc.
Once you have done that you can clone your designer for multiple sites. So, if you designed a submitter for WordPress (this is just an example, Magic ships with a WordPress submitter built in) you can create one base submit routine and then create “child” routines for many different sites. For example there are maybe 30 WordPress sites pre loaded that are all “child” sites of a master WordPress submitter.
Whilst on the subject of WordPress, Magic Submitter comes with a wordpress confirmation manager, so that you can auto confirm WordPress sites that send a password in the email.
Despite being a hassle to use Magic Submitter can get you better quality links than most of the applications reviewed on this site, at a much lower price than its direct competitors (SE Nuke and Evo II).
It does not have the “link wheel” features some of these applications have, but it may do in the future. Alex is a smart guy!
Also, if you take out an annual subscription currently on offer for $297 it works out less than $25 per month, compared to SE Nuke which Is $127 for the full package.
Despite the issues with this software, I really rate it and am glad I got the lock in for $297, and, as the application is still being developed it is looking like a better investment each week.
If Magic Submitter decide to open a market place to allow users to sell add on targets (like Sick Submitter) it will really improve as for a few sheckels you will be able to quickly add new target lists to your arsenal.
Magic submitter is useful for a wide variety of purposes and does help you rank but it is very much a “hands on” application and as such not scaleable. Its no good for promoting large numbers of sites, but great if you have a handful of sites you want to invest a little more time in.
Should you buy Magic Submitter?
Buy an Magic Submitter if:
- You need to boost a small number of sites
- You have time to use it
My advice would be to get the annual subscription as its a lot cheaper, or if you are unsure, get a monthly sub, try it out and then upgrade afterwards.

Is it too late to get the annual $297 deal? How can do get it?
I dont think they offer that any more, I got that on a very early release. You could always try contacting them to be sure
Hello Again,
I wonder about Seo LInk Robot., how is it comapred to magic submitter?
/Ed
I know a couple of people using it who say its ok. I dont think it would be as good as magic, but its a lot cheaper. I think they have a free trial for 7 days, its definitely worth a look… I will review it at some point… bit busy at the moment so this sites been left on the back burner, but I will be back at some point with some new reviews!
Been reading quite a few of your reviews and must say they are informative, detailed, and rather enjoyable.
With that said, do you have an updated opinion on SEO Link Robt? I’ve been debating between the two and can’t seem to get a definitive answer anywhere and it’s driving me crazy.
I have not got round to testing SEO Ling Robot, I belive its moving toward a monthly plan and it does not do anything “new”, I will get round to reviewing it at some point.
